For the Love of Noise

It hits me like a train,
Hurricanes all thoughts,
Into splinters of the easy hell,
That each day glorifies...

Tiny fames eat up the world,
With the heavy hold of brittle hearts,
While the Enemy’s empty dreams,
Button up the brave in boredom...

Let me out! Run! Scream!
Heavy and brilliant like gold,
Days beg for the breath of awe,
And die in the sigh of hollow hearts...

I cry and crave for the gasp of glory,
That cliffs and mountains beg,
I pray and laugh for the droves of groves,
Sing! Sing for the love of noise!
